Valentine’s Day Cravings: Chocolate Dipped Fruit
Happy Valentine’s Day Gypsies! We hope you’re spending your day with someone special. Today is a day meant for showering your other half with lots of love and chocolate. 🙂 So, today we bring you a tasty and healthy treat: Chocolate dipped frozen bananas! Feel free to substitute bananas with pineapples, strawberries, or even apples (or all three). This fruity dessert is so simple & beyond delicious! We guarantee they are sure to be a big hit with your beloved Valentine. Follow the easy recipe below:
4 Organic Bananas (Substitute with any fruit: pineapple, strawberries, etc.)
1 bag of milk chocolate
Popsicle sticks for dipping
Dried edible flowers
1). Cut up the bananas, or whatever your desired fruit of choice is and set it aside
2). Simply melt the chocolate over a double boiler, on a low heat and keep stirring until smooth. Or, you can melt the chocolates in a microwave at half power, for 1 minute, stir and then heat for another minute or until melted.
3). Once the chocolate is melted and completely smooth, stick the popsicle sticks into the fruit and dip it evenly on one side.
4).Place the freshly dipped fruit onto the parchment paper
5). Once you have dipped all of your fruit, sprinkle it with your desired toppings
6). Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour
