◈ Dreamcatchers ◈
Our latest love obsession for summer decor—–> dreamcatchers. These whimsical pieces are on the top of our list when it comes to adding a bit of charm, or creativity to a space in your home. These enchanting and sacred creations originated from Native Americans. Some tribes believe that a dreamcatcher is a magical and sacred object and it’s purpose is to watch over those who slumber under it’s protection. The Ojibwe believe that it can alter a person’s dreams. They believe that only good dreams are allowed to pass through and the bad dreams become entangled in the net. The good dreams pass through and slide down the feathers and beads onto the sleeper. This is why dreamcatchers are always adorned with feathers and ornate beading. We think they are absolutely beautiful and find them to be a strong addition to any workspace, bedroom, or meditation room. Since summer=craft time, we’ve added simple step by step instructions so you can make your own dreamcatcher. And if you’re not in the mood to create one, you can always swing on down to Winds of Change, or Gypsy Sole to sift through our large selection of beautiful dreamcatchers!
