Blueberry Banana Power Smoothie
Happy Saturday, babes! There’s no better way to kick off your weekend than with a healthy and delicious smoothie. So, today we have a healthy blueberry banana recipe for you! This smoothie is chalked full of antioxidants, protein, and goodness. Blueberries are one of our favorite super foods, they provide us with multiple benefits, from heart health, to glowing skin. Not to mention they taste amazing. Bananas on the other hand are an amazing source fiber and potassium. They also contain several essential nutrients, and have benefits for digestion, heart health and weight loss. These are a few reasons why we love too start off our day with a power boosting smoothie! Follow the simple recipe below.
1 cup organic blueberries
1 large ripe banana
3/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
2 teaspoons raw honey
1/2 a cup almond milk
1 teaspoon chia seeds to sprinkle on top
1 small banana sliced
Combine all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend well util smooth. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
