The patch is back!
Embroidery and patch work were once a thing of the 90’s, but in recent weeks they have resurfaced and are back like never before! It’s official, patches and embroidery are cool once again. We’re seeing them everywhere, on jeans jackets, tops, pants, cut-offs, skirts, literally…everywhere. And to be honest, we’re kind of obsessed. Once accociated with “punk” or grunge” fashion, the patch has been redeemed and given a second chance as a bohemian & gypsy fashion trend. And we’re quite fond of this unique-retro look.
This is a great fade to have fun with and play with your creativity. You can find your own vintage patches to sew, or iron onto your jeans, or jackets on Etsy or Ebay. We put together a few of our favorite looks for you to get inspired by. Happy patching, xo.
As with all true bohemians, we lust after adventure and the unknown. One of the most fun ways of exploring Mother Nature is through camping. Though we’d like to credit ourselves for doing it a little differently…with style! We’re totally inspired by our fellow creatives who have turned camping into a fashion-forward and elegant experience. Or as we like to call it, “Gypsified Glamping.” Who says we can’t be comfortable and fashion forward at the same time? We’ve got a whole lotta love for these whimsical structures filled with ornate patterns, dreamy pillows and plenty of personality. We’re returning to our vintage roots and repaving the path that our hippy forefathers carved before us. How amazing is that?!
Totally Woodstock and 1970’s inspired-we’ve collected some of our favorite tent & teepee creations to share and hopefully help spark the wanderlust in all of you! Xo
Lighten up! You’re naked face is better…
Our current summer obsession: the natural look. Timeless, beautiful and powerful↠the natural look is trending and that means it’s time to free your face, and skin from the grasp of overdone makeup! Of course this doesn’t mean that we’re throwing our beauty products to the curb entirely, it just means that it’s time to lighten up and let more of our true, and natural self shine through. Natural makeup is simple and so easy to do. Plus, it should take less than half the time to apply than your normal makeup routine. Make up is merely a tool meant to enhance and accentuate our beautiful features, it should never be used as a way to hide our true selves!
